Good news: the bullies' free pass has been taken way (Employment Tribunal fees now unlawful)

We are very happy to announce that Employment Tribunal fees (of up to £1200) have now been declared unlawful by the Supreme Court . This means that there is no longer a massive counter-incentive to seeking redress for a grievance beyond UCL's own internal processes and procedrues (Grievance Panel; Investigations; Disciplinary Panels). It is the view of UCL UCU Executive Committee that UCL's internal processes are flawed and that our members have no guarantee of due process in these contexts . The ability to obtain redress from an ET without having to pay a prohibitive sum will give our members a more ready access to potential redress. UCL UCU Officers.
